Xperia X battery life after 2.1.4.14 update

I have noticed significant worsening of battery life after the update, it lasts approximately 12-14 hours, while before the update it was possible for me to run it for two days without charging. Also the phone is often getting hot, Lighthouse shows CPU temperature up to 45C. This behaviour persists since I made the update, which was about two weeks ago. I have seen similar reports here, but the answers stated that it should go back to normal after 1-2 days, while my Xperia still drains too much battery. Any ideas what could I do?

Did you reboot since the update? It generally helps. But I have also the feeling that it consumes a bit more, and cpu usage avg never drops below 5% (I don't remember if that's normal)

I rebooted several times since the update, didn't help. Does your phone get hot? Mine is even now, when I'm writing this. I'm running only the browser and Facebook Messenger currently, so CPU shouldn't be overloaded. And CPU usage never drops below 5%, that's true

They have enabled all the cores iirc in the latest update.

According to AIDA64, CPU cores 5 and 6 are always sleeping (XperiaX, 2.1.4.14)

Sometimes my Xperia X starts draining battery power but rebooting solves the issue. Have a look with Lighthouse to check if a task is filling up a CPU.
