The bluetooth audio worked almost perfectly on my Sailfish X, but after a month or so it started stuttering so badly it was basically unusable.

After reading about flushing the bluetooth cahche, I went to bluetooth settings and removed the last device I had connected from the list (a cheap bluetooth gamecontroller).

I connected my bluetooth headset (which still needs to connect/manual dissconnet/reconnect before properly connecting), and -BAM- silky smooth stream again!

Hope this info can help someone frustraded with bluetooth skipping.

I still have this problem, and I believe I have managed to track it (at least in my case) down to one application: Rockpool.

I need Rockpool, since I have Pebble watch, but every time I want to listen e.g. music with bluetooth headphones, I have two options: either I stop the rockpoold background process, OR I just open Rockpool UI !? The latter seems to be enough to keep the daemon satisfied (assuming the connection to the watch is alive), so that it doesn't start searching for watches to connect to (searching seems to cause the stuttering to the headphones audio).
