People app to combine with facebook contacts?

The facebook event is well connected with Calendar app. Works great! Would it be possible also to connect facebook profiles (info, user portraits etc.) with People app? So I have always updated info and portrait of my facebook contacts in People app automaticaly. I was used to this feature on my old Nokia Lumia running on Windows Phone 7.5, were it worked. Thank you for any comments.

How crazy or ignorant do you have to be to want more integration of this infinitely evil company into a mobile OS that is supposed to value integrity, privacy and security first and foremost?? There should be NO integration of Facebook into Sailfish, optional or otherwise. That would go against Jolla's whole business model and their arguments for using their OS - and at a time when more and more people are (FINALLY!) discovering the evils of Facebook, it would be downright detrimental to Jolla's future to have any association with Facebook in any way.

Keep this trash out of Sailfish. If you have already sold your soul and become a Facebook sheeple and subject, and a commodity for them to use as they see fit, then you can use an Android device to access their services. Because if you don't have any problem with Facebook raping your integrity, you shouldn't have a problem with Google doing the same.

Ok bocephus, but why are you so offensive to me? It is not nice from you. I am new user of SailfishX. Have bought XperiaX, spent two nights trying unlocking bootloader, then I have paid for SailfishX, deleted preinstalled Android from Sony and finely installed succesfuly Sailfish on it. I became big fan of this OS and appreciate all the effort from Jolla. I just hope I will meet here nice people.

Btw. the integration of facebook evets is already done in Sailfish. So why to be so offensive to my question. Be nice please. Have a good day!

Yes, there is Facebook integration already, which is ridiculous and should be removed. But you are asking for more.

I've said my piece. Whether or not you find that offensive is out of my control. But frankly, I don't care - because in a free society, there cannot exist a right not to be offended. That's another thing the Facebook generation would do well to understand.
