I'm trying to install Sailfish X into Xperia X in Windows. Flashing end with the following error message.

SailfishOS-2.1.4.14-f5121-0.0.1.8>fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce flash oem SW_binaries_for_Xperia_AOSP_M_MR1_3.10_v13_loire.img error: cannot load 'SW_binaries_for_Xperia_AOSP_M_MR1_3.10_v13_loire.img': No such file or directory

ERROR: Failed to execute 'fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce flash oem SW_binaries_for_Xperia_AOSP_M_MR1_3.10_v13_loire.img'.

The required image file is moved into the same Sailfish installation folder where are the files flash-on-windows.bat and fastboot.exe, but for some reason the script couldn't find the image. Maybe the path was too long (that happens often in Windows). Is it possible to retry installation by running the script again?

You can try renaming the file to whatever, or, just flash fastboot commands manually. That's what I did with X Compact, (check X Compact announcement thread op in this forum for xda post with instructions - I can't post links). Just search the bat file content for the commands you need.

Two things to check, firstly is version of Android upon Xperia X new enough and you have enabled "Allow OEM Unlock" in Developer options? As on Windows did you use Emma?

Thanks!

I moved the installation script folder containing the oem image into a shorter folder path. Started the dos command prompt into that directory, and gave manually the flash command.

fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce flash oem SW_binaries_for_Xperia_AOSP_M_MR1_3.10_v13_loire.img

Booed nicely into Sailfish :-)

Well , it say file not found. So you probably misspelled the file name of the Sony binaries file ;)
