Problem whith Internet connection only when introducing SIM card

Hi! Without simcard, I can connect to my wifi network without problems but when I introduce the simcards in my Xperia it's not posible anymore to use wifi and the WLAN symbol appears with an asterisk and I wonder what it means. Also it's not possible to use my mobile data (when I try to go on internet, it tells me I have no connection to internet). Do you know how I can solve this? What does that mean: WLAN symbol with asterisk / star ? Thanks.
PS: I already try to restart the phone several times and forget the wifi network before trying to connect again
