My Xperia X that I have from the first day of release (2.1.3.5 I think) is stil so full of bugs, that it gets more and more unusable every day. The latest update 2.1.4.14 made things worse for me. So should I wait for the next update or switch back to Android and reflash the latest Sailfish X immage? Would that help with some of the listed bugs?

Update: it was a Hardware failure and I fixed it by replacing the camera module - main camera has a blackscreen no matter what I do... (few days after update 2.1.4.14) link

Update: solved with aoutofocus patch in 2.2.0.29 - pictures were unsharp link

Update: stil present in 2.2.0.29 - roaming does not work even after update to 2.1.4.14 link

Update: got better but stil present in 2.2.0.29 - general networkconnectivity is really bad (flightmode switching everytime) link

Update: got better but stil present in 2.2.0.29 - androidappsupport keeps restarting from time to time link

Update: stil present in 2.2.0.29 - my new bought SD-card gets not recognised, no matter what format. link

Update: stil present in 2.2.0.29 - soundissues: vollumelevels are not sychronised between Sailfish and Alien Dalvik etc. link

Update: solved in 2.2.0.29 - notificationsound pops up through speakers while listening to music link - and more...

Minority of these listed bugs are tracked by Jolla but not yet resolved...

Update: the last Update 2.2.0.29 made it more usable As we see what has been changed through the last update I Don't believe it is necesery to reflash the phone.!

So will some bugs get resolved when I somehow get back to android and reflash with latest immage? I've read something about reorganising filestructure between the two releases...(2.1.3.5 and 2.1.3.7) has this been reorganised automatically with the latest update 2.1.4.14, or do I have to reflash? And if so, why there is no official anouncement about reflashing for better functionality?

Jolla please comment on that.

From that list also have the roaming, the network connectivity and the camera issue and some others. Could you comment some details about your phone? Mine, for example, was bought used and had android running for roughly half a year. Maybe something from this period induced some errors.

Nevertheless, I also would be happy about some comments by Jolla here. What are the reasons why the recommended reverting to Android and reflashing of Sailfish helps?

Bought Xpeira X brand new and used it on Android for about 3 months until the Sailfish X immage was available for the tabletbackers. Installed it 2 days after release. My Androidsupportlicense had to be splitted in two by Jolla since i ordered 2 licenses from the same account, for me and my wife. I always updated on the latest Android version with every tiny update that was provided by Sony (while using Android).

I'm also on SailfishX and also experience some of these bugs.

Also in Android apps(Whatsapp most of all) is having some connectivity issues.

And the partition volume is still very shitty.

But I like it more then my JollaC.

I too feel said about the stability of Sailfish X on the Xperia X. I really hope 2.2 will bring improved support and kernel 4.4.
