Idea: Pulley menu could have "close app" as the last item [not relevant]

If it could be possible via setting to enable to have this option in the pulley menu, it would help closing apps when you wouldn't have to move your hand from the bottom of the phone when closing apps. I would appreciate this option because I have small hands and the Jolla is relatively big.

I'd speak out against it, as it further clogs up the pulley menu. Especially in some 3rd party apps you have to start pulling at the very top to see all options. Keep it simple! It's just a 2cm difference anyway:)

That's why I said I should be an option and could be enabled in the settings :) I know that not anyone wants this but why couldn't it be available for those who might want this?

I think a nicer idea to handle this issue of "small hands", would be to allow swapping the actions of swiping from the top and swiping from the left/right. Left and right swipes do the same thing anyway, so this would solve the issue without a new item in the pulley menu.

Wont work anyway in any apps that have:

  • large 2D scrollable areas, such as maps
  • large 1D scrollable lists

...as there is no way to activate a pulley menu in this case. :)
