When calling out with the XPeria X (paid Sailfish X), one more ringing tone is played _after_ the correspondant has picked up the call. So the first words is somewhat covered by a ringing tone...

I gues I'm not the only one, am I ?

Never recognized such an issue. Have you installed any patches through patchmanager? If yes, disable them and give it a try.

I think it's related to the operator. I have the same thing on my Jolla C with Freemobile in France.

The ringing tone for out-going calls is not generated by Sailfish but by the operator infra, at the switch. It comes to the caller's ear through the voice channel. On the networks I use they even interrupt the tone in the middle if the called party happens to tap the answer button while the tone is being played.

So I think @debeliu and @jovikku answered my question:

"The ringing tone for out-going calls is not generated by Sailfish but by the operator infra, at the switch. It comes to the caller's ear through the voice channel."

So Sosh/Orange is to blame here, no Sailfish !

Thanks to all for the information.
