[Bug][Performance]New single photo view in gallery has performance issues

After using new gallery for a while I am seeing performance issue with new single photo view. The folder I used has about 45 photos. And when scrolling left / right via left/right swipe in single photo view, the transition is not smooth. It appears that the previous or next photo stutters when it reaches the edge. And if we try to rapidly swipe left/right, then the behavior feels increasingly slow/jerky. Also photos take more time to load in new view. Previously in the old view this was much faster.
