Hi, wann install the Andorid Support on a Sony Xpera X with Sailfish OS 2.20.29. From Jolla Shop: Sailfish_OS-Jolla-2.2.0.29-f5121-0.2.1.20.zip Can not find a Package named "Andorid Support" find only "Aptoide". Have installed "Aptoide" but in Settings can't find a Point to enable "Andorid Support".

There is no Icon from "Aptoide" In App Jolla Store -> My Apps can select open for the App "Aptoide" but for other Apps too.

Jolla Accout is connected with the phone (Status: active)

What can I do ?

Thanks

Hi, I had the same problem when I reset my Xperia. After several attempts I realized that my password to access the Store was not the same as that of my Jolla account. When I installed Sailfish X for the first time, without realizing it, I put another password and it worked without problems until I reinstalled the system.

Edit: I have looked at the emails and I have seen that I have two active Jolla accounts ... one with access to Android and another old one that gave me the same problem as yours.

Sailfish X license from Jolla allows for installing Sailfish OS on Sony Xperia X devices (models F5121 and F5122, as of June 2018). Furthermore, the license makes the so-called licensed content [###] available in Jolla Store, allowing to download and install them.

The license is tied to Jolla account which purchased the license. When signing in to this Jolla account from an Xperia device the license becomes also tied to the IMEI code of the device. Hence the license is valid on one device and one Jolla account.

After you have signed in to this same Jolla account from your Xperia X the licensed content becomes available in Jolla Store in category 'Jolla'. Restarting the device may be required in some cases - this is the first remedy for you if there are issues in seeing the content.

[###] *Currently: Android support [1], MS Exchange support [2] and predictive text input [3]. Note that none of these will appear as icons in the app grid (after installing them) as they are not really applications. Use "My apps" in the pull down menu of Jolla Store app to view what is installed in your device.

[1] allows for installing Aptoide and other Android app stores which in turn makes it possible to install actual Android apps. [2] allows for signing in to one's Exchange account from Settings > Accounts, after which Exchange will appear in Email and Calendar apps. [3] appears as predicted works on top of the virtual keypad while typing.

It is good to restart the device after installing [1][2][3].*

Hey, thx for the answer, english is noy my native language so going through again with this is....if I buy used Xperia 5121 device that has Sailfish Os on it allready, that is installed and bought from the first user of the phone. Do I then have to buy new licence with my so called Jolla1 account to fully use android support on my new preused Sailfish X....? Or can I then buy the xperia phone with the account of the old user credentials...? Cause I can change the old users password and be with it.... :) Am I getting it right? Thank you!

@Konn - to garner someone's attention, it is good practice to put an @ sign and then append the users name directly, like this; @jovirkku

I had to change my XperiaX due to hardware issue. How do I tie the Jolla account to the correct IMEI (Now I have to f5121 IMEI listed in Jolla Account)

In addition to @Tigre-Bleu - is it possible to move the license from one IMEI number to another due to the lost of the original device?
