After updating SailfishOS to 2.2.0.29 on my XperiaX I cannot enable WLAN anymore.

I installed via the terminal like this: https://together.jolla.com/question/133600/how-to-update-sailfish-the-unofficial-way/ Updating via the GUI resulted in a phone that was stuck on a boot logo. I also found a ticket of someone else who ran in the same issue: https://together.jolla.com/question/185567/22029-xperia-x-does-not-start/

When I try to enable wifi via the menu nothing happens. I did some searching and try to enable wifi via the terminal:

connmanctl enable wifi

This returned an error:

Error wifi:"Method "SetProperty" with signature "sv" on interface "net.connman.Technology" doesn't exist

I guess the wifi driver is broken somehow. I have no clue how to get that fixed.

@Jozz

Possibly because 'connman' is not installed?, to find out, you can type this in terminal;

pkcon search name connman and look to see if it installed or not, if not, install it and try again. You will also need to authorise the command with devel-su and your pw; so the command looks like this;

devel-su connmanctl enable wifi (enter - password - enter)

Hope this helps.....

@Edz, unfortunately that did not solve the issue. The first command shows that connman is installed.

The second returns the same error as I posted. I forgot to mention that I already ran devel-su.

I downgraded the OS via the terminal, but that didn't solve the WLAN issue. Then I disabled all repositories from Openrepos and upgraded to 2.2.0.29 via the GUI with succes. Still the issue with WLAN is not solved. I did a search here at TJC again and found this question describing a similar problem: https://together.jolla.com/question/116139/20010-upgrade-failed-wlan-networking-broken-11930/

Then I did open the File Browser app. I enabled hidden folders. Then did a search on sbj-wlan and found 0 results.

Does anyone know what the version is that I need to install if I use Zypper like this:

devel-su
rpm -Uvh --force /home/.pk-zypp-dist-upgrade-cache/packages/adaptation1/armv7hl/sbj-wlan-0.2.6-10.21.1.jolla.armv7hl.rpm
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start wlan-module-load.service

Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a way how to install the WLAN drivers? I don't mind using the terminal, but I don't know where to get the correct files.

I "fixed" this by reflashing my Xperia X. Jolla Support recommended to do it that way.
