As far as I can tell, this is a bug. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create an email in an alternate mail client (e.g. Thunderbird on a PC) on an account accessed though IMAP.
  2. Write some text in the body of the email
  3. Have your ordinary email client save the email to drafts
  4. Open your email app on your Jolla
  5. Browse to drafts folder.
  6. Drag down the menu and select update. You will now in the preview see the subject og the email and some of the body.
  7. Tap on the draft to open. The body of the email will now be void of text.
  8. Click back in the top left corner. Jolla will now save the draft as-is, that is with an empty message body
  9. Use your other IMAP client to verify that the email now appears with an empty body.

This is hardly ideal behaviour, since it erases the body of the draft in question on the IMAP server, at which point it is irrevocably gone for no reason at all.

Please fix this if you are able to reproduce. I run 2.1.4.14, but since it is not mentioned in the release notes for 2.2.0.29, I assume that this has not been resolved.

EDIT (2018-09-14): This is still an issue with 2.2.1.18. I think this is a serious issue since it involves data loss. It should be fixed on priority.
