Want to buy a Jolla Tablet [not relevant]
I'm looking to buy a Jolla tablet if anyone has one they'd like to part ways with. I'm open for discussion on price.
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

You might offer the tablet on talk.maemo.org There you can exchange private messages without showing you email address publicly

You'll be lucky, you've just missed one. Personally, I wouldn't waste your time or money on something even less capable that a Jolla1, all you gain is a larger screen and less support.
Spam Hunter ( 2018-06-22 15:51:05 +0300 )editThanks @Edz. I prefer the tablet. I backed the new Yougato one on Indiegogo, but doesn't look like I'll ever see it. Could you expand the less support comment? This would be my first Jolla device.
aia832003 ( 2018-06-22 15:56:04 +0300 )editI suppose my comment is a little misleading. Jolla will give you support as would other tablet owners, but far more people have the Jolla1 phone than they do the tablet, so community support may not have the same wealth of info, albeit the OS is largely the same. I guess really, it is nothing other than a personal opinion which may have no weight to it at all.
Spam Hunter ( 2018-06-22 15:59:18 +0300 )edit@Edz: @aia832003: Battery life is something that was "even less capable" than a Jolla , yes. Otherwise I kindly disagree, such a beautiful product the Jolla Tablet. --
Last week I had to reset/use an old Android Tablet because I needed certain apps on Google Play Store. I must say, I was appalled to see at what lengths Google goes to try to trap 'clients' to their ecosystem and capture my personal data. Not sure if it was b/c of the old Android version but they downloaded 300 MB google apps/updates before I managed to inactivate (deleting not possible) their unwanted crap^H apps. On the other hand, yes, I suppose, one has to do this to become the dominant advertising company / mobile ecosystem. Congratulation are in order.. (or not?)
