My Intex Aquafish phone battery is not getting charged. Service center guys said motherboard will have to be replaced. Is there any way to avoid this? Is there anyway to remove the battery and charge it externally?

intex aqua fish is a cheap phone that comes with cheap hardware internals.i have faced this issues 4 times everytime the charging jack stopped working. there is no need to change the motherboard and don't go to service center. go to local mobile repair shop and ask to check and replace the charging jack with the new one. it will probabily cost you around $2 or Rs.150.

It is Sunday and not many shops are open. I just stripped off a USB cable and charged the battery directly. Aqua Fish is now back to life and swimming well. Cheers!
