Mail client send fails quietly with exchange account

In the last few month I have encountered a problem with my exchange account. Sometimes, it just doesn't send my message. Sometimes it does. The first time, it seemed to be fixed by me deleting the account and creating a new one. The second time (now) it worked correctly just now, but not yesterday, without me replacing the account. I think it may have something to do with new servers being added. Perhaps I'm sometimes being routed to one incompatible with the sailfish client. I noticed that when it doesn't work a message saying "Updating" often appears for a moment (sometimes a long moment) before the list of messages re-appear.

I'm so sorry to answer my own question! It turned out that my latest messages did actually reach their recepients. I had put myself in BCC for one of them, but it didn't get back to me (and I also don't see the messages in the sent folder on the server). The first time it happened (when re-creating the account finally fixed it) I did more tests, and my messages didn't make it at all.

BUT, it really can happen. Happens to me mostly when sending while no inet connection activated. Also especially with Outlook, I often observe that my emails do not reach outlook addressees. Never happens on a PC from the very same account.
