Has anyone considered pcloud support in Sailfish? As Dropbox now dropped support for any other filesystem than unencrypted ext4 on linux, I have now switched to pcloud on my linux PCs.

There is a linux command line client that I also compiled for my PC:

https://github.com/pcloudcom/console-client (actually used this fork, because the original doesn't compile on Fedora https://github.com/plague-doctor/console-client)

API SDK is available:

Just some info about pCloud. It is Swiss based. There is also end-to-end encryption available (in the paid subscription). Supposedly they have big customers like BMW and Coca-Cola. The features for linux clients are well regarded: https://www.cloudwards.net/cloud-storage-for-linux/ (winner in comparison).

As Jolla does not even provide webdav I would not expect them to provide any other cloud provider beyond the major services. It's a shame, as I use SailfishOS to keep some control over my data the push their users to use data-greedy services.

Webdav? I'm grateful they don't support things like that.

As far as I know, webav is the only standardised protocol for file access via http. It may not be very efficient, beyond that, do you know a better _standardised_ protocol? What else is wrong with webdav?
