when trying to uninstall android apps from Launcher, nothing is happening. The remorse timer is displayed. But after the timer, uninstall is not performed, app remains in the phone. Does it happen to anyone else? How to resolve the issue.

My phone is Intex AquaFish changed to Jolla C running 2.2.1.18- Nurmonjoki

(It is possible to uninstall from app stores)

in my case it was due to launcher patch, did uninstall that, deletion started to work again. reinstalled launcher patch, continued to work

same situation as @deutsch1976 :

after reflash, got trouble with apk handling (apps failing to install/update/uninstall)

but in my case, stopping and restarting the Android layer ended up solving the problem.

(seems to me that shutting down/restarting alien-dalvik is the number one solution when dealing with weird problems on Sailfish OS... :eyeroll: )

I am able to do it from Appstores like PlayStore, Aptoid, etc. It is a work around like you mentioned- using APK uninstaller. I hope Jolla will address the issue in next update.
