Hi guys,
right now I am starting to get ready a Xperia X with Sailfish OS but I was wondering how I could get XPrivacyLua or something similar running or find some settings of the OS to block e.g. single contacts to get read by some android applications?

sailfishOS has an option to block all android apps to have contacts access, but I don't think you can choose specific contacts to be appeared. you can find this setting under settings -> Android support.
Unfortunatelly as I notice android apps can read smses. You can always disable android if you do not use it anymore, and it starts next time you run an android app

Apart from what @nas said there are chances for improvements, judging from these screenshots of Sailfish 3 .
