Removing transfers from notifications [answered]

There's probably a way to do this, but I can't find it. Is there a way to remove transfers from notifications, at least after they've been there awhile? I'm not sure I ever find them useful, and I certainly don't need them consuming screen real estate days and weeks after they occurred. Clearing transfers in the settings does not make them disappear, and the settings for the notifications page doesn't seem to offer a choice one way or the other.

A search here doesn't seem to shed light on the subject.
