Moikka Jolla Comnunity!

I recently bought an Xperia XA2, where I want to install SFX. Now I'm just wondering if it will include all the features, bug fixes etc. of the upcoming SF3 or can I just consider SFX a customized version of SF3 by the time SF3 will be released?

Thanks in advance!

Sailfish X is the officially supported OS port for Sony Xperia devices, including commercial components (so you have to buy a license).

Sailfish 3 is the coming iteration of the OS that will be available for all supported devices from Jolla 1 onwards.

Jolla plans to introduce Xperia XA2 support together with Sailfish 3.

"I recently bought an Xperia XA2, where I want to install SFX" Don't install SFX as it is today. It is not meant for the XA2

Hi,

Sailfish X is a packaging of Sailfish OS that you can buy that you flash onto a supported, unlocked Android device yourself rather than get pre-installed on a new device. It follows the same update schedule as other supported devices, and Sailfish 3 is the next major update in that schedule.
