SailfishX on Sony XperiaX, boot loop even after complete reflash

Good morning, did that occur to someone already? Even after I did a complete factory reset from recovery mode as described here, and tried to setup a new fresh OS, the phone kept rebooting after 2 to 30 seconds after start. Ok, I thought, then I will reflash completely new, downloaded the Sony Binaries, put them into the sailfhish folder (that contains the fastboot files and the flash-Script, as advised in step 6 of the official installation instructions).

Still the reboot behavior remains. The phone is unusable. It happened out of the blue. The data loss is sad, but what frustrates me most is I think, this is the end of the line what can be done software-wise. Except anyone of you has some ideas, I must think this is a hardware failure.

Phone is the XperiaX f5121 with the newest OS (Nurmonjoki).

Just a hunch, but I have similar troubles with a jolla 1 here. Turns out to be a btrfs problem that crashes the kernel. You could check that by booting recovery mode (surely this also exists for the xperia) and do a btrfs check and/or btrfs srcub on your partitions. That is, if they also use btrfs for the xperia. If not, I will gladly delete this comment ;)

If you have lost all your data already why not return to stock Android with appropriate wiping and start afresh?
