I somehow managed to disable the notifications for one of my e-mail accounts unintentionally. Now, new e-mails will not be shown in the notifications area for this account. This happened a few weeks ago with the latest version 2.x and still persists with 3. How can I enable them again? I didn't even knew how to disable them. Thank you!

Are you still getting new mails automatically, e.g. if you open the mail app are new mails for this account already there or do you have to pull them manually?

Yes, they are still updated regularly. By the way, where can I set this update interval?

Open the app "settings" -> go to "accounts" (one of the last entries) then select one of your mail accounts. You are now able to set a specific sync-interval (its again the last option at the bottom of the screen)

OK, I've checked it and it's still enabled to sync every 30 minutes. However, new mails don't appear in the notifications area.

It does maybe sound stupid but have you tried deactivating this specific account and activating it again? The next step would be to delete the account and recreate it which shouldnt be a big problem if you are using IMAP.

But as i dont remember any option to turn off notifications for a single mail account i would consider this as a bug. you could maybe add the "bug"-tag and the sailfish version to your question.

last question: you dont use any notification patches from openrepos?

For those who stumble upon this thread:

The workaround or solution (your choice ;-)) was to recreate the mail account.

Deactivating and Reactivating the account didn't seem to help at all.

Exactly, deleting the account and recreating it was my solution.
