Unable to install Aptoide after download on Xperia X
It's a Single-SIM XPeria X.
I understand that "Android store" and Aptoide are the same thing.
I have downloaded Android store and it's marked as installed. But it doesn't show up in my applications section.
I have also tried downloading and installing aptoide from it's website to no avail.
I have enabled
- Security
- non-trusted software
- Information
- Android support
Did you activate "allow untrusted software" and AlienDalvik in Settings? I don't know if that solves it, but it may be a reason.

sluimers ( 2018-11-08 21:53:36 +0200 )editIs it this: https://together.jolla.com/question/116173/aptoide-disappeared-after-update-to-20010/?
A.Maretzek ( 2018-11-09 01:14:22 +0200 )editAt some point, on a JP1, I had to do this:
cp -i /data/app/packaged/com.aptoide.partners.apk /data/app/
chown system:system /data/app/com.aptoide.partners.apk
That worked after reboot, thanks!
sluimers ( 2018-11-10 06:11:57 +0200 )editI have run into the same problem (also sailfish X), I lost access to the aptoide store, have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times, but it simply does not show up.
None of the suggestions above worked. Would anyone have additional suggestions?
