Native whatsapp currently?

I was wondering if there is a native way to use whatsapp at this point? Apparently Whatsup has gone down some years ago and mitäkuuluu is nowhere to be found. I just want to install Sailfish on my XA2, but whatsapp is the only reason keeping me back.

Why not to use Android version of Whatsapp on Sailfish? I know native app would be better but still better than nothing.

Because the XA2 doesn't yet have android support.

Whatsapp/Facebook are blocking any client than their own and will lock your account if you try to use one.

P.S.: The Android client is working fine with Alien Dalvik for most people. Personally, I see long delays from time to time.

While also being too lazy to provide a native app themselves? Well isn't that nice. /sarcasm

With less than a billion Sailfish users, Facebook will not develop a client...

They just built one for KaiOS maybe we can run it on sailfish or convince them to build one for us
