Xperia X locked in lock screen after update to Lemmenjoki [answered]

The update to Sailfish 3 went well and I could use the phone for some time and reactivate all patches. After searching for updates in both Jolla store and Openrepos the phone displayed a warning that there were problems registering. Storeman had some updates and ran into errors trying to install.

After that I cannot leave the lock screen anymore. Neither is the finger print sensor active nor is the input pad for the PIN visible, The new upper menu is active though and I can activate the camera.

Pls help. I do not love the idea of reflashing and restoring the unit. Thank you for any suggestions.

Are you using Patch: Calendar events on lockscreen? https://openrepos.net/content/anig/patch-calendar-events-lockscreen If yes, then you should ssh to your phone (you have to have activated developer mode) and then reinstall lipstick.

Developer Mode is active. But my phone has no acitve connection. No Wifi, no mobile data, not even the phone can be reached.

I cannot unlock the phone. No input pad for the numbers. No finger print sensor.

First of all do you use Patch: Calendar events on lockscreen?

What is happening when you connect your phone to the computer by cable? Is it reachable? If not try to use recovery mode https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002996893 and use shell to reinstall lipstick.

lipstick package is called lipstick-jolla-home-qt5

I am (sorry for that) not quite sure about thze patch. It would not hurt anyway. I managed to activate recovery mode. How do I reinstall lipstick-jolla-home-qt5? "pkcon" does not seem to be an option on the shell.
