Rotation shortcut to allow locking to horizontal

At the moment it's not possible to use rotation lock shortcut (suunta-katkaisija in finnish) to lock the rotation to horizontal. Because the home screens doesn't rotate it's only possible to use the shortcut to lock to portrait.

I know there's a patch for home screen rotation but that's not what I want. I just wish that the phone would recognize being held in horizontal position when I tap the shortcut so when I open an app it would be displayed in horizontal.

Edit. I've been meaning to place this request for a while now but just realised that the new top menu in Sailfish 3 allows me to lock horizontal when opening the top menu while an app is running. This is basically what I want.

So my feature request was a bit late.
