I'd gladly have sailfish OS on my N9 which is basically useless at the time. Jolla is showing in various places how they've put Sailfish OS to different devices.

Would it be legally possible for Jolla to have a service "Bring in your device, we put Sailfish OS in it for X euros/dollars"?

And if it were possible, what would be reasonable price? I'd say $50.

Legally yes, I doubt anything like that will happen from Jolla. Someone from the community could offer such service for devices where no closed blob is needed or the closed blob is available for free distribution.
