Would like to reset the PIN of my SIM card that I don't require to enter the PIN at start up. I saw that you can set a new PIN from Settings however I haven't found an option to clear the PIN. Can you give me some hint?

In "Settings" -> "Pin Code" just uncheck "Require PIN code", enter the current pin and your phone won't ask for it on next reboot.

It is possible to prevent the phone from requesting your PIN number during start-up, however, this is less secure and could make it easier for others to use your SIM card, should you loose it.

If this isn't a concern to you, you may disable the PIN code by going into settings "PIN code" and disabling the option "Require PIN code", upon which you will be asked to type in your PIN number one last time. After that you will not be asked for it until you decide to activate it once more.
