I visit Jolla Harbour almost every day and dashboard always tells that some 4-10 apps were submitted yesterday. I check Jolla App Store almost every day as well and.. I see 0-2 apps added daily. Why the difference?

  • Is the submission counter counting updates as well?
  • Or almost all submissions fail to pass the acceptance criteria?
  • Or maybe I need to learn counting better and there are actually 4-10 added to harbour daily?

I have wondered about it too, and felt it is just example bogus data.. but I don't know.

I often read about rejected apps because they use restricted api's (for security reasons). So that is one reason why more are submitted than added to the store.

I'm also wondering about the rejected apps which use connectivity such as bluetooth, gps, wifi?

Right now Harbour only shows dummy figures. They don't mean anything.

Looks like an answer to me.. whether it's correct or from reliable source is a different matter..

At one earlier point somebody (@jukkaeklund?) told that counters that are zero in harbour are just mockups. Well, 48 hours "average" review time is obviously also fake. Yet number of daily submissions.. it changes, doesn't look like fake then.

Hmm, this is really not an answer, but I don't know how to convert it to comment. @pycage, could you do it yourself?

This Answer has been accepted as the correct one and the question could be closed cause this explains why the figures don't match with the actual numbers of apps that are accepted.
