can't save gpg attachment

3.0.0.8, XA2. open email with encrypted attachment (gpg), try to save it... email client refuses to do it.
it should just save any file regardless of extension.
edit: workaround is to use the terminal to find & copy the attachment from /home/nemo/Downloads/mail_attachments/
