Hi there,

My phone Xperia X wakes up regurarly every 5-6 minutes. That means it is all black and then shows screen for some seconds then again ...

Any idea what is responsible for that or how to find out who is waking it up?

Thanks !

P.S. i have a few patches installed nothing related to networking i have double tap enabled according to reviewjolla's proposal.

EDIT: it happens also in flight mode. with no notifications in events page. with no app running. i have stopped deamons of depecher and find-my-jolla. still same

i.did.suspect some apo/ deamon, but was due.to double tap

Display wakeups and most if not all reasons should be logged. And even if reason is not explicitly logged, the log might still have some indirect clues. So, it would be helpful if you can enable developer mode and get a slice (10 minutes in the examples below) from journal when it happens the next time, something like:

devel-su
journalctl -u mce --since -600 > mce.log

If that does not show some more or less obvious reason, a more complete log might be helpful

journalctl --since -600 > journal.log

NB Before sharing logs here / elsewhere check that there are no phone numbers or like included.

@pawel: That gesture 4 == double tap.

Does this periodic waking up happen if you disable double taps?

Can you share your double tap config?

Do you have the device connected to charger when this happens? I've seen some individual devices where touch input goes bonkers while charging, or after hitting battery full without disconnecting cable. Ghost fingers, inaccurate reporting, etc - so far not on xperia x though.

i did state the diuble tap in the question as p.s.
