'x' close symbols show up only after reboot

Initial situation: in the events view the transfers section is empty.
I download a file. I go back to events view. I tap onto and hold my fingers on transfers/the file/free place. Nothing happens. I reboot the phone. Unlock it. Go to the events view. Again I tap onto and hold my fingers on transfers/the file/free place. This time 'x' in circle appears.
I think this should appear either always or never.
