Any plans to support new tablet?

I always wanted a tablet with SFOS but for the known reasons there was no Jolla tablet and no Youyota tablet. Still I would like to get my hands on an officially supported tablet. Are there any plans?

But probably only available in Russia, not outside of the country.

So if they are out, can you organize us some Inoi devices!? :P Or suggest us russian online platforms where we could buy them? I am not speaking russian, and i am a bit scared importing a device without CE certification and if the supported mobile frequencies are the same in Russia and Europe. Thanks for the Info Coderus! :)

Looks like they will be able to be purchased online, but I'm not sure if there are any export restrictions or not. Perhaps one of our Russian colleagues can comment? Here is where they can be purchased once they go to market:

There would be not much missing for Sony Z3 compact, camera and video playback would have to be working without any problems and the device officially supported by Jolla, then we would have a great device. And the device is still available on the net

But apparently the camera is difficult to fix and no official support by Jolla in sight. So unfortunately its not an option :( :'(

They are in the Open Devices program of Sony (else with missing source code (kernel) and unlocked bootloader it will be difficult to support it), but they lack the kernel 4.4 and even later kernel 4.9 support.

So, I wouldn't bet on the Z series, but rather on the X series

See a nice overview on: Kernel support Sony

More info about the program can be found on: Sony Open Devices program
