Option for a slideshow to view photos in gallery app. Although this slideshow feature is propably a bit questionable in terms of usability in smartphone and small screen size.

I also see this would be useful feature if Sailfish gains popularity in tablets. But a nice feature to have in phone also.

(This answer is transferred to wiki post in order to prevent getting karma from it. However if you like the idea, please give your vote.)

have you noticed there's slidshow(s) going on when you choose gallery and look at the small photos/videos/ambience icons? you just have to wait a while for it to start. that's kinda neat.

so the slideshow might be quite easy to do....

yes, there is this small "slideshow" in gallery preview which is nice, but I'm referring something like fullscreen slideshow. For example hooking up device to external monitor or TV, it would be nice to view photos in slideshow from big screen in full size.

Slideshow on/off and pause/continue slideshow feature. Adjustable timer for slideshows.

edit: Slideshow could also work in the app cover, with actions pause/continue (swipe right) & next image (swipe left)

Could you include also a "cover slideshow" to this answer, or should I write another?

You can do as you like. Maybe a separate list of requested features would work too but then its hard to vote for each feature that people like.

For roadmapping purpose, one answer with the desired features is the best. Thanks, edited.
