The speaker of my XA2 is rather quiet in phone calls. The loudspeaker for media playback or while in handsfree mode is brilliant, however when I have the phone at my ear it's hard to hear the other party in a noisy environment. Is it just me/my phone or do you have the same?

CSD plays the same loud sound on 'Loudspeaker playback', 'Stereo loudspeaker playback', and also 'Receiver playback'. I cannot identify a difference. Guess this my be related to the missing proximity sensor.

Is there a (hidden) option in increase the speaker volume in phone calls? (Of course I tried to increase the volume by pressing the volume-up button while in a call.)

When phoning on xperia xa2 dual-sim (H4113) with sfos 3.1, I can hear the other side hardly. The voice level is very low though maximized slider. Is there a patch to increase volume level for phone calls?

Hi Sailor, maybe u could try the patch from Schturman-Increase Speaker volume. I have bad hearings and using aids , so that's why this patch is useful for me.

I have the same issue with XA2 Plus (H4493). I tried the patch mentionned above with no success (it only modifies the speaker volume, not the call audio volume).

Any suggested solutions? Is it possible to modify the volume of phone calls (earpiece) manually with a command?
