Xperia XA2 and Quick charge 3 "smart" under SF

Hallo! I am checking my new Xperia XA2: following SONY, I know by far that it support Quick charge 3.0,
and also 2.0. source.

The XA2 is sold with the 'standard' QC 2.0 charger, called 'UCH10: QC 2.0 Charger', even if, trying it, the charge does not seem so fast.

My question is: if I charge it with the QC 3.0 charger under Sailfish OS, it will support the standard?

If yes, the "Smart Charge" Sony function that protects against excessive wear from QC3 charge is gone, under Sailfish?

According to qualcomm the XA2's CPU, SD630, support QC4, which supports USB-PD.

Also, any source on the excessive wear because of QC? In their FAQ, qualcomm states they just charge the batteries according to specs.

Anyways Batteries not last so long, so I do not see problem tho use qualcomm's quick charge certificated chargers.

And nothing prevent you as a user to change battery when it's "done". Xperia xa2 seems anyways quite easy to change battery even if you haven't experience or if you are slightly clumsy.

I also do not believe that quick charge will wear batteries a lot, I think differences are relatively small.

And because @minojolla didn't give any source of his claim, I'm also lazy and comment without sources of my information.

@Jk I feel a bit of criticism :-/ The source of course is Sony itself, which on the XA2 page, section Battery, talks about the intelligent charge. I have not linked the resource because I assumed that the Sailfish-XA2 users, are passionate about the Sony site before buying!

Instead, a source regarding the possible danger of Quick charge is: https://www.quora.com/Does-fast-charging-reduce-battery-life@Fuzzillogic the hot is the issue.

@minojolla that's hardly an authoritative source, with vague and old answers. And you're wrong. I don't particularly care about Sony or the XA2, it's just that's the only option of one wants a SFOS device with supported Android runtime. I expect that many of the info on their site is more Android and Android apps related and marketing blahblah, than relevant technical details.

I have to admit that this could be a very rare and hided bug, even if the Sony software related to QC3 was gone after the Sailfish installation.

That said, if I just bought a new device, it's right to know if stay safely on the standard charger (that is QC2), or if moving to the QC 3 charger linked can wear the battery in less than two year!

Just remember how much were lasting the old low powered 1100 mah battery, before to be changed after 3/4 years.
