To get the update I again had to use the CLI method* to install, the GUI method failed and rolled back.

 ssu release 3.0.1.11
 version --dup

Also the fingerprint scanner now doesn't even work with manual starts, it would be great if we had either a decent man page or some other documentation about sailfish-fpd and fpslave so that troubleshooting would be easier. (maybe alse encfs-fpd?)

Thanks!

you can always grab logs to know what is wrong, but. nevermind.

For the update or for fingerprint?

Fingerprint I think I documented pretty extensively and am now trying to figure out with strace.

Update happily....

I suspect the following may be the culprit:

Jan 07 18:45:54 Sailfish sailfish-upgrade-ui[718]: Distribution upgrade error: Download (curl) error for 'https://releases.jolla.com/releases/3.0.1.11/jolla/armv7hl/mw/armv7hl/ohm-con
figs-default-1.1.22-1.3.3.jolla.armv7hl.rpm':
                                                   Error code: Connection failed
Error message: Could not resolve host: releases.jolla.com

Though that is puzzling because shouldn't it download all packages before doing the reboot into update-UI?

@Jk sorry didn't see your comment, should have written earlier I'm on a dual-sim X, have a JP1 lying around which I'll fire up when I get home tomorrow and try.

@Keeper-of-the-Keys does your dual-SIM on Xperia X work after the upgrade?
