I was pleased to see that the phone app got a built-in recording feature after upgrading to Sailfish OS 3. However, I could not see it working yet.

After stopping the recording or at the call's end the message "Could not save recording" is displayed. In the CallRecordings directory I see a wav file per recording with 44 bytes.

Does anyone have or had a similar/the same problem?

What device are you using it on? In the past not all devices were supported afaik.

I am using the Jolla 1. Haven't seen the update yet (according to the changelog it was released today to early access subscribers), manually checked it now and I will upgrade now. Thanks for the hint!

I will check it. However it's only available as early access currently.
