When I send a contact from my N900 to my Jolla via SMS, nothing happens.

The title tells it all. I don't even get any SMS notification.

The Jolla is not able to send or receive MMS yet. To send a contact (.vcf) as an attachment of a short message, the message changes into MMS format, i think. so that would explain why this doesn't work. why don't you send this via Bluetooth?
Zandi ( 2014-01-26 14:34:39 +0300 )editI am not a GSM expert but I don't think contacts are sent as MMS. In fact the N900 does not support MMS out of the box and still can send and receive contacts.

about the notifications: i know the sms-notification from my operator back in the days when mms was a very new thing, which said something like "you got an mms, download it here". But i do not know if any operator still does it today
