Subject says it all.

Other applications do auto rotate just fine (ex: browser)

Reverting to 3.0.0.8 brings back the auto-rotate function in Documents application.

I'm on 3.0.1. on my Xperia X and autorotate works just fine in Documents. (Checked with PDF and DOC&DOCX)

Works also with Jolla C (3.0.1.11).

@ossi1967,@japsi Thanks for reporting back.

PDFs refused to go landscape (any of them). I haven't tried other document types.

I wonder if something went wrong with the upgrade, affecting somehow various sensors:

  • issues with compass

  • issues with the proximity sensor ( I was about to report, but I wait until I do a new upgrade)

I will try upgrading again and hopefully find out that I can close my own bug report :) Do you happen to know how can I check if all packages have been properly installed and are up to the required version ? The version --check no longer works since few releases.

There was a problem with the upgrade. Downgrading to 3.0.0.8 and re-upgrading to 3.0.1.11 fixed the problem.
