Is there a one handed mode?
Hi Sailors,
pykong from Germany reporting in. I have just installed Sailfish OS on my brand new XA2 Plus and I am already falling in love with its look & feel.
However, due to its screen size, a one-handed mode in which the whole screen is shrunk towards a corner would help a lot. See picture: PIC
I was not able to find any such thing in the settings or app store, no atopic in this forum. Can you recommend anything in tis regard?
UPDATE To provide specific scenrios where a one handed mode would be beneficial (in part taken from the answers below):
- keyyboard usage (difficult to reach "Q" on a QWERTY layout with your right thumb
- android apps which do not profit from Saillfish OS' superior control mode
- swiping from top (e.g. to close an app)
to my knowledge: no

It could be useful for some apps, especially Android ones.

lispy ( 2019-01-21 15:18:38 +0200 )editAlready 5” is much to big for one hand use imho, if you need to use top of the screen (as in Android and SfOS3). 4” is plenty of screen and you still can reach the top. One hand mode/better gestures would be welcome (also an alternative would be to bring back events view to bottom).
