Revolut Android app

Is anyone able to successfully use the Revolut app on Sailfish X (v3.0.1.11)?

The app is available in Aptoide, in the sailfish-apps store, as version 5.12 (not the latest, but the last one supporting Android 4.0+).

Running the app prompts for the phone number and then fails when trying to enter it (We're sorry. Something has gone wrong. Please try again later.).

Is this something that might be related to how AlienDalvik provides access to something required by Revolut?

Edit: I don't have Google Play Services installed and don't plan to install them either :)

Just tried it on my Xeperia X. I hadn't run it for a while it asked me for a phone number, I entered it and it worked fine. I installed it from play store.

works here on Xperia X - with installed PlayServices though - installed with Yalp ...

no Idea, as I rely on a local transport app that needs PlayServices I sadly need them installed anyway

Hi,

Same issue as you, I did not succeed to use it.

You will need a more recent version of revolut in order to use it. Unfortunately the android sdk on jolla is too old to properly run the app. However you my try this: https://together.jolla.com/question/196337/working-microg-working-on-sailfish-x-3008-f5121-tldr/

Thanks for your reply, however, I am not sure I want to go down that path. I am hopeful that the app itself would be working with basic functionality if the login step worked.

I wonder if the changed phone number option is usable to log in with the app.

I tried to deodex and enable signature spoofing with uG service. No luck with revolut, even with the latest version on aptoide.

Actually is imposible to use the "top up" option using Revolut app in SailfihOS 3.0.1.14 on Sony XPeria XA2. I have installed the MicroG package but it doesn't work either. So sad, as I was using Revolut perfectly on Sony XPeria X with Sailfish till now :/

On the Xperia X (with Sailfish 3.0.1.11) I have Revolut last version runnig perfectly with Google Services. In Sony Xperia XA2 (with Sailfish 3.0.1.14) I have installed MicroG as still there is no way to running Google Services. But as I can read along internet, is perfectly possible to use Revolut last version with MicroG on Android. Just not working on Sailfish

I was not able to use it either. i guess it relies on google play services! XperiaX here

I believe we are waiting for this PR to be merged to get recent/decent TLS support in Android 4.4: https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/issues/504

I recently have got the signature spoofing and MicroG working on XA2 following this instructions: https://together.jolla.com/question/200448/how-to-install-microg-on-xa2-android-81/ But unfortunately Revolut app top up (5.12 version) it isn't working still :(
