Description

After using the three-finger-swipe gesture to adjust the media volume, the volume bar will not disappear until a reboot.

Affected devices and versions

This issue appeared on Sailfish OS 3.0.1 on the Jolla Tablet.

How to reproduce

  1. Use the three-finger-swipe gesture to adjust the volume e.g. on the Jolla Tablet
  2. Result: The volume bar will not disappear again. Even adjusting the media/ringtone volume with the hardware keys won't resolve this issue and the volume bar will be shown the whole time until the device has been rebooted.

I just had the same problem on an Xperia X under Sipoonkorpi. As in most of such cases, a restart helped.

Observed the same behaviour a few times. 3.0.1.11 and Sailfish X.
this seems more like a comparability issue of the patch itself. So I took the liberty to remove the bug label for now.
let's ping @Alen (AliNa), maybe he can say more.

this is rather a comment than an answer. you could convert it...

It's rather a workaround than a comment. Is there also a conversion option for this? ;)

@rozgwi Just to clarify: The three-finger-swipe gesture is a native 'out-of-the-box' gesture that is activate by default on big screen devices like the Jolla Tablet, so in my case I am not using any patches. The patch you are referring to just activates this feature for small screen devices. This is an issue with the native gesture and not an issue caused directly by a patch.
