Hello all, How does android support affect your battery life. I have some feeling that even with android stopped it drains faster although that could be just in my mind. Prior to the beta x update i was able to get 2-3 days, now I am not sure if i get one. This could be just because i have more apps to play with. Whats your observations on the topic ?

For me it now drains in 8-10 hours. Usually it could last the night too before.

The battery life is a big issue; WiFi drains it and now AlienDalvik, as per the answer below. It should be a priority, along with the capability to access our apps via data. Xperia X with a smaller battery last longer. XA2 with Android had a very good battery life.

AlienDalvik runs in the background until you stop it. It uses additional battery capacity since it has to run it's services in order to start your Android apps when needed.

Don't need it? Stop the runtime in Settings or use the shortcut in the Top Menu.
