Hello Jolla community,

My University need to buy 19 SailfishX licenses for teaching purposes. There is apparently no way to buy several licences in one transaction in the Jolla shop.

We have send 4 mails to info@jolla.com without any answer.

Do you know if this kind of transaction is possible ?

Regards,

Thomas

where is your University and how do I apply for this course? *g Try making a ticket at jolla.zendesk.com, or mail care@jolla.com maybe ;)

@tbellemb: We recommend filing a ticket for the customer support at https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new . The info mailbox is a bit of a last resort. There is a person reading it but unavailable now. Zendesk is much handier for customer service than email. - Jolla Shop is not prepared for batch purchases but we will see if something can be done.

I can confirm that zendesk works quite well.

@jovirkku The mailbox is a last resort? Then why is it prominently mentioned on the website? "Business and general inquiries: info@jolla.com". Makes me wonder how many business inquiries Jolla has missed…

Don't get me wrong, I much prefer an email address over some web form with inferior UX. Case in point: none of the request topics on Zendesk, a required field, matches the OP's question.

@Fuzzillogic I have to fully agree - that's just very sloppy, especially if people with business inquiries are being pointed to it.

I suggest at least splitting something like "business@jolla.com" and having someone read it regularly, or many business opportunities can be easily missed.
