Which Phone is This, (on Jolla Homepage)? [answered]
Just wondering. It looks like a nice design, but I'm guessing it's a 6-inch beast...

That's kind of silly - I'll never understand marketing... So, someone somewhere actually thinks that using a fake image of a non-existent phone will cause Jolla to make more money than the same shot of an actual phone that runs Sailfish? Either that's a totally ridiculous thought, and they should change it, and correct whoever came up with the idea, or it's actually true, and I live on a planet ruled by strange beings I don't understand ...

fnkkio ( 2019-02-12 16:55:56 +0200 )editUnfortunately I think you are right. That's exactly the phone I would like to have. Just screen on the front and clean black case.
inta ( 2019-02-12 17:05:54 +0200 )editA nice one, small and borderless. A dream :)
magullo ( 2019-02-12 17:18:09 +0200 )editThe nicer it looks, the worser it will work
chris7chris ( 2019-02-12 17:33:15 +0200 )editIsn't it quite obvious that this is not a phone but just a render of the Sailfish 3 surface (it is plain 2D)? Jolla doesn't produce phones anymore and since this was the announcement of SF3 the purpose probably was to show just the OS desktop without the connection to a specific phone.
