Get rid of provider service Icon

I have app in my launcher called Vodafone-Services, I don't need so I want to hide it inside a folder to have a clean launch screen but every time a start the cellphone it in the launcher and not inside the folder -.- Any ideas?

It is the SIM Toolkit app.

Just set inside /usr/share/applications/simkit.desktop NoDisplay=false to NoDisplay=true.

This should hide the simkit app

But when you say it appears back im Main menu after restart it could be that the desktop item is always created anew when the SIM goes online. So maybe a start script or cron job is needed to patch the desktop item after restart/SIM online? Yep, confirmed. After disabling/enabling SIM(s) the simkit is back there. So cronjob and patch...
