L2TP/IPSec VPN support

Are there any plans for supporting L2TP/IPSec based VPNs? If I have seen it correctly, the current support for l2tp lacks IPSec support (with a pre-shared-key) which I would need for my company VPN (based on a SonicWall firewall).
(Ideally, it should use libreswan as the IPSec implementation, because I haven't got it to work with strongswan that normally comes with my openSUSE based desktop computer.)

I am also waiting for this feature for a long time already....
