I'm using T-Mobile, and first installed Sailfish using earlier beta for Xperia XA2. I just updated to recent 3.0.1.14 and data stopped working. T-Mobile is shown as "Limited connectivity". I didn't change any APN or other settings, they remained the same and worked fine before.

Even using ping shows "network unreachable". I'm not using Android compat.

Current settings:

Any idea how to fix this?

Is there a way to downgrade back to older version which was working?

I have similar problems in Denmark. But In my case 3.0.1.14 is better than 3.0.3.11 was, now I can use mobile data after changing settings to ”Prefer 3G”, which I could not before. 4G is very unstable, actually unusable – I hope Jolla solves this at next release.

sometimes I need to toggle sim on and off to get mobile data to work. From settings enable secondary sim so that you can disable sim slot 1. Then enable sim 1 after few seconds. This helps for me.

Where is that in settings? I don't see anything sim related there. My XA2 has only one sim by the way.

There is no SIM menu on single-SIM devices. Setting the flight mode on and off momentarily would do the same trick as toggling SIM off/on.

I guess this doesn't fix it then. Toggling flight mode on and off didn't help.

I tested this on 3.0.1.14, not on an XA2 (I use Planet Gemini). To get mobile data to work I had to change protocol from DUAL to IP.

No problem with 4G, connection is solid.

This workaround does not work in XA2.

Sony Xperia XA2 (Single SIM) with SFOS 3.0.1.14 Mobile data looping between Connecting & Enabled few times a second. If I connect the Wifi, it stick to 'enabled' until i disconnect the wifi , so i'm guessing it is just using the wifi connection to confirm the connectivity? Tested with prefer 3G & prefer 4G, same results

Anyway , can't get the mobile data to work.

Update: The issue is with Telenor - Bulgaria. I switched to another SIM from Vivacom - Bulgaria. And the mobile data connects normally.

Update2: The mobile data issue seems to get resolved if you force re-send the internet settings from your provider. At least for me, switching back to Telenor and forcing settings resend fixed the issue.

3.0.0.8 worked fine for me, so I'll probably reflash that. Is it safe to do it from 3.0.1.14?

Interesting, I can try contacting support for that. How exactly did you force such resend?

I was able to connect by resetting to default, but it's using older T-Mobile access point: epc.tmobile.com
