I am planning to get my first Sailfish phone (Sony Xperia XA2). I wonder if I the Philips Hue app to control the light bulbs works on Sailfish X.

There is an old questions from 2015 (https://together.jolla.com/question/76854/does-philips-hue-work/) but I wonder if anyone has experience with connecting a Xperia phone to the Hue light bulbs. (edit: and if the official Hue Android app is working on Sailfish X)

Dont do it!!

I bought an XA2 and flashed it and regret doing it tbh

Currently have a phone that accidently mutes itself or puts callers on hold, its an issue related to the proximity sensor which STILL hasnt been addressed by Jolla

I'd wait until you know you will at least have a fully working package!

Hi! There is at least one app for Philips Hue in Jolla store.

It was also last updated 2019-02-19.

Thanks for your reply but does anyone know if the official Android app is working?

Hi, there is already a thread with your question, and it contains a comprehensive answer, too! :)

https://together.jolla.com/question/76854/does-philips-hue-work/

I for myself had it running ever since on both J1 and JC - the Android app.
